about our treatments
Inkless revision is a paramedical, pigment-free treatment that works with your skin’s intrinsic ability to heal and renew itself. Rather than masking stretch marks and scars with color, this treatment activates collagen production and allows the skin to refine naturally.

No dye, no ink, nothing that masks.
Promoting collagen production naturally.
Results build session by session

TREATMENT DAY
Skin may look red or darker and feel warm, sensitive, or slightly swollen. Follow your personalised aftercare plan.
THE FIRST DAYS
Early sensitivity and swelling often ease over several days. Your skin may take longer to settle, depending on the treatment.
THE FOLLOWING WEEKS
As the repair process continues, subtle changes may begin to appear. Progress is gradual and differs from person to person.
OVER THE NEXT MONTHS
Texture and appearance may continue to change. Julie reviews your healing before planning any further treatment.
AI-generated medical-style illustrations are schematic, not patient photographs or predicted results. Stages overlap; timing, colour changes, and results vary. This guide draws on general skin-needling recovery and does not replace your individual aftercare instructions.
About skin-needling recovery ↗︎For anyone exploring care for stretch marks after pregnancy, or looking to improve the appearance of scars and stretch marks, a consultation can help you understand whether inkless treatment is right for you.
Controlled needling is intended to stimulate the skin’s natural repair process, including collagen production.
Treatment may soften the appearance of stretch marks and scars and help them blend with surrounding skin. The degree of improvement and number of sessions vary; a specific percentage cannot be guaranteed.
Some people describe a scratching sensation or mild sensitivity. Discomfort varies by person and treatment area. Julie will explain what to expect during your consultation.
Julie will explain the serums proposed for your treatment and review their ingredients and your allergy history. Products are selected as part of your individual plan.
Inkless revision does not use tattoo pigment to cover marks. The aim is to improve their appearance as your skin heals; colour changes and results vary.

JULIE DAU · INKLESS SPECIALIST
Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences
I’m Julie Dau, an inkless specialist with a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and the person behind Julvenation. My work focuses on inkless stretch mark revision and scar lightening, with a thoughtful approach to each person’s skin and goals.
I founded Julvenation on a belief in skin’s capacity to heal when given the right conditions. With a foundation in Health Sciences, my approach centres on restoration and begins with listening. Stretch marks and scars are part of your story, and choosing to care for them is personal. My aim is to create a welcoming space where you can ask questions, feel heard, and explore your options without pressure.
To me, a smoother tomorrow means more than how your skin looks—it’s about feeling comfortable and confident in yourself. I’d love to hear your story and help you take that next step at your own pace.

The age and condition of your stretch marks are assessed at your consultation. New marks, recent scars, and skin that is still changing may need more time before treatment; age alone does not determine suitability.
Stretch mark creams may help hydrate the skin, but their effect on the appearance of established marks is often limited. Laser treatments can improve some scars and stretch marks, though costs, discomfort, downtime, and risks vary by treatment. Julvenation’s Stretch Mark Revision and Scar Lightening offers a pigment-free option intended to support the skin’s natural repair response. Suitability, comfort, and how long improvements last vary from person to person.
Changes develop gradually over weeks to months. Some people notice early improvement after a session, while others need more time or several sessions. An 8–12 week review can help assess progress, but improvement is not guaranteed.
Improvements may be long-lasting, but outcomes depend on your skin, aftercare, and future changes such as pregnancy or weight fluctuations. New stretch marks can still form.
Please tell us if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before booking. Elective treatment should be postponed until suitability and the products involved have been reviewed with your healthcare professional and the studio.
It does not permanently remove or erase stretch marks. The aim is to soften their appearance and help them blend with surrounding skin. Results vary with skin type, the marks themselves, healing, and aftercare.
Avoid intentional tanning and protect the treated area from sun exposure during healing. UV exposure can worsen discolouration. Being inkless does not eliminate the risk of pigment changes, and tanning is not recommended to improve results. Follow your individual sun-protection instructions.
Your plan depends on the depth, texture, age, and extent of your marks, as well as your response to treatment. Several sessions may be needed. Julie will discuss an initial plan at your consultation and reassess before recommending further visits.
Temporary colour changes can occur, but darkening is not proof of collagen production and may be post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Contact the studio if darkening persists or worsens, and seek medical advice for concerning changes.
Redness, swelling, sensitivity, dryness, or mild itching can occur. Do not scratch or pick the area. Follow your written aftercare plan. Seek medical advice for worsening pain, spreading redness, pus, fever, or symptoms that are not settling as expected.
Possible risks include irritation, discomfort, bleeding, pigment changes, infection, and scarring. A history of keloids, poor healing, or certain medical conditions may make treatment unsuitable. Discuss your full health history and any past pigment changes during your consultation.
Appointments are often discussed around 8–12 weeks apart, but your next session should only be planned after your skin has healed and been reassessed. Persistent irritation or pigmentation may require a longer interval or a medical review.
A little preparation helps you arrive informed and comfortable. Your consultation will confirm the steps that are right for your skin.
Tell Julie about your medications, supplements, allergies, recent procedures, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and any history of poor healing, keloids, or pigmentation changes.
Disclose current or recent isotretinoin (Accutane), aspirin, anti-inflammatory medicines, blood thinners, and supplements. Do not stop or change medication on your own. Your prescriber should advise on any changes and safe treatment timing.
Avoid tanning and sunburn before your visit. Tell us about recent laser or IPL treatments so we can confirm an appropriate interval. Sunburned, infected, or irritated skin needs to recover before treatment.
Avoid shaving on the day of treatment if it irritates your skin. Ask the studio whether hair removal is needed and when to do it; do not treat an area with cuts or razor irritation.
Ask which skincare products to pause and whether any food or drink restrictions apply to your appointment. Follow the personalised instructions provided for your treatment rather than a general online checklist.
Plan ahead for the aftercare instructions and any activity restrictions you receive. Keep the studio’s contact details handy and check that you know what to expect and when to seek medical advice.
